Tue 06 May 2008, IMNA
Commission holding for the referendum has already cast 'Yes' vote for quite a number of people for the May 10 to approve the draft constitution.

According to a businessman in Thanpyuzayart Mon State, "the commission paid to us to mark 'yes' votes. They pointed out for us which tick we should put."

He said that the residents' name, ID number, father's name, address and were included.

He added that they will submit it to the Development Affairs in the Township.

According to Mudon residents, they received the ballot papers today and they have to vote in the nursery school in their quarter.

The local commission gave the 'yes' vote in Ye town and township, but some village already voted at the local health department before the water festival.

According to Htin Yuu villager, "We have to vote tomorrow. But I don't know how to vote and choose."

"I am not sure yet. Should I vote in my native village or the place where I work?" asked a headmaster in Mon State.

A fuel owner in Moulmein (Mawlamyine) Mon State said they will choose whichever they want.
